A lovely lazy day infact Ev stayed in his pj's all day. He is still a little grotty/snotty and seemed comfy so I just left him. He had a bath later and fresh pj's for bed mmmm my kind of day!

He loves us drawing lately and will boss us as to what to draw for him. I decided as he likes fish (ish) so much to make him this for his room. See my G.C.S.E in art comes in handy!!!

The octopus is a little odd, but I quite like the ish.

1st February 2010

Monday.

Today started off totally crazily. Ev woke up fine then turned into a DEVIL!!! Within 10 minutes he had drawn on the wall, thrown his clothes on the floor, spat out his calpol (teething and full of cold) and then thrown his rice crispies all over himself and the floor!!!!

Was very glad to see Rob's mam to help me and take him for a few hours!!! He's usually so good that when he is naughty its a shock.

Where the heck has January gone???

Had a nice lazy day today well it was cold and a bit snowy! Lots of reading and drawing. Well and being bossed around by Evan.

Was very funny as just before bed, he heard me talking to Rob and then immediately copied. He ran around the house shouting "And I go pee, And I go pee!!"

30th January 2010

Not necessarily todays monotimy but this is myusual day at home with Eva.

Get up watch the Bear (Superted) and then be asked all day for it lol. Saying that I still think we mananged about 2 hours worth of the bear!!

Went pram bowsing with my Mam and Ev. And the ONLY pram I wantis the Phil & Teds. Think I actually NEED it!! Anyone want to give me £380??

29th January 2010

A lovely lazy day at home. We both had swineflu jabs yesterady. So a disturbed night for both, Evan was whimpering in his sleep, not enough to wake him though luckily. And my arm hurt so much that any time I moved it woke me. I'm such a wuss!!!

Other than a 20 min walk to get fresh air to wake me up we have just stayed in and I have being bossed around. What to watch and what to draw!!!

28th January

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay scan day!!!!!!

I'm 22 weeks 4 weeks today and its finally scan day!!! I wasn't going to go as I had awful stomach pains, but decided it was safest to go and check that babycakes was ok.

As soon as I got in I said we don't want to know the sex, so she was really good at hiding the legs. Also babycakes was crossing his/her legs!! Was a very cute scan as they were either yawning or talking away. Probably saying go away and leave me alone!!!

Just over 17 weeks to go now, well 14 til I am full term whoooo hoooo.

Yawn yawn back in work!!

Wasn't that bad as nice to have adult company though I did miss watching the bear!! (Superted!)
I had to work til 5 so Rob left early to get Evan then come back for me. Only he got stuck in traffic as there was a fire. Rather than get stuck in it agin, we went to Harvester. This is Evan loving sitting in a big chair in the bar.

26th January Tuesday

The postman woke me and scared the life out of me at 7.20am!!!!! Stupid stupid time!!

As I opened the door this hand came out of the dark and gave me the above box. (minus the boy!!) I was expecting a mattress ro the new crib we got off E-bay, so was completely confused asto what this was. It was the mattress only folded in half.

Ev had loads of fun playing in the box for hours.

Monday.

A much of a nothing kind of day, Rob wasn't well so I tool Ev out to get errands done. Was amazed how far he walked before he got tired and ratty.

He came home and decided that he would set up a mobile snack van lol! He is doing the think think think pose from Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

Who needs highchairs and plates!!

24th January 2010

We had a spin down to see family down the Gower. While we were there a load of chickens got in the garden. Evan wanted to go see them. This is Ev pretending to be a chicken. You can just make out a chicken in the background.

23rd January 2010 ishes!!!

We finally set up Evs fish tank today. It was meant to be ready for Christmas, but with everything going on, we never got around to it. We had to have the original table altered by my Dad so it was sturdier.

Tigger and Digger seem to love their new home. And Ev loves the fact that they are now eye level. He has spent ages talking to them, and kissing and hugging the tank.

we need to wait a month to check the water levels for bacteria etc are right then we can start introducing new fish. The tank has a filter and light so we can get tropical fish yaaaay!!

22nd January 2010 Cheeesse!!!

I was making me and Evan cheese sandwiches, and he came in shouting cheese. So I gave him the block to keep him quiet while I buttered the bread. I thought he was by my feet so got a shock when I found him in his highchair pretending to eat it!

He is crazy and crazy for cheese. Colliers is his favourite cheese, and often refuses any other cheese than this. He has taste as its our favourite cheddar too, and its Welsh!!

Thursday 21st January 2010- Gooks!!

Decided to tidy up Evans gooks. Well as much as I could given we have yet again run out of room! The shelves were looking empty as we had loads of books downstairs. Every morning we take him downstairs he takes a gook with him (screams if you say no!!)

At last count there was about 320 and theres been more since. We had to put some up the attic for him to have when older. Lets just hope babycakes likes gooks as much!!!

20th January 2010 Balls!!!!

Mmmmmm yummy meatballs and tomato sauce all homemade of course!

Had a lovely lie in as still off sick from work. Feel much better with my throat but still exhausted so was a lovely help.

After watching Doctors (I am totally obsessed with The Dr Jimmy storyline!) I made suprise meatballs (stuffed with Tintern cheese) and a hopefully tummy tomato sauce. Its cooked for about 3 hours so should be good.

And its one of Evs favourite foods.

Tuesday 19th January 2010-Posh bump!!!

Had a lovely lazy yet silly day with Evs. We walked (well he walked for 15 mins before going in his pram). Then we came back and did lots of silly games and dancing. He really is a loveable loon.

He has really taken to the bump. Was yummily cute as he was on the phone to Nain (my mam) and told her that the baby was stuck!!. He then tried to pull the baby out by tickling me! I just hope he is as cute when baby is here.

Anyway this is bump at 21 weeks and 2 days. Trying on my dress for a friends wedding at the end of March. It needs some altering so hopefully off to the seamstress on Fri.

18th January 2010 mmmmm Lush!!!!

A lazy day so Ev could get over bug. He was a starving loon when he woke up.

Ribflare (I'm sure thats a type of jeans!!) is playing up. So had a fabby lush bath. This is just some of my lush products. I'm totally addicted, gotta be my most favourite shop ever.

17th January Look what hapens when daddy dresses me!!

Do'h Ev and Rob went swimming today and look how he was dressed!! It wasn't intentional just that Rob forgot to do his vest up and said was easier this way heeeheee. Don't think Ev was impressed though.

Even though he hasn't been swimming for months he loved it.

Just a pity he was sick later damn these bloody bugs!!!

Not much of an exciting day just a nice lazy Sunday (minus the sick!)

16th January 2010 Tears and Tantrums!!

The tears were mine. the tantrums Evans. He's definitely hitting that terrible two stage aaaaaaaaahhhhHhhh!!

Not that you would tell it from these pics of him being cute and angelic. Nain was taking him out so I could have a break and rest my voice again.

15th January 2010 Ready steady cook...

Today it was playing shop. Ev got a till and play food and crockery etc off Santa. After a play in the shop (well empty Dr Martens boots box) and then a sing on the till microphone, a dance to the sound of the Tesco clubcard being zapped. This is what he bought

So Ainsley what can we make here??? I like how he thought to bring crockery aswell!!!

So we have a box of cornflakes, box of crackers, a fish, an avacado, a grapefruit, a chocolate milkshake and a pink iced doughnut!!!

Yum yum!!!

14th January 2010 whose nose???

Ev came home from nursery and went straight for his games. He got both of these for Christmas. And the who knows, whose nose game is a huge huge hit!! We didn't have to show him how to do it he knew straightaway, clever clogs!!! Ok so sometimes we have cross breeds a duckodile etc.

13th January 2010 messy pup!

Check out Ev's hat hair!! He had great fun trying to make snowballs with Rob. Only as he was in mittens it stuck to them haha.

He came in and saw my choc mousses ready for me to eat and his eyes lit up!! He's too cute to refuse so he had one before he could even take his coat off. Hnce the choccy mouth!

He looks like he is wearing one of those joke mouths!!

12th January 2010. My survival kit!

Back to the Dr's today as can't shake this throat infection. I know have a chest infection on top of it. The items in the pic are what I'm surving off. Being pregnant theres not much I can take. The tubi grip is for my rib flare. The baby is pushing my ribs up and apart into my spine ouch!! The tiger balm helps any back ache. And as its white no longer stains my tops!! The honey and lemon are drunk about 5 times a day to ease my throat. And mmmm lush bath bubble bars. I'm a serious addict. Well they help my back and throat, and the baby seems to like it.

Dr signed me off for 2 weeks! :0( I'm already bored. She wanted to sign me off for 4 weeks I asked for 1, but she wouldn't do less than 2.

11th January 2010. Silly games

Not much news today. Had physio and I have ribflare so have to wear a tubi grip around my bump. Which is very itchy. I'm not posting a pic of that though lol! I took it off and I was like a walking barcode!!

Ev is happy as Rob is off work today so gets to play silly games. He loves to climb on top of the sofa and sit with his cuddly toys. The Dragon was a present off Danty (my sister) and was made by her friend Kate Murray (google her she's fab!!)

He spent ages climbing up and then sliding down and loved it.

10th January 2010 Daaadddeeeee comes home!!!

Rob flew back from Spain today. Once we knew he was on the plane and wouldn't be delayed we told Ev Daddy was coming. This prompted even more Daddy dancing, and more running to the porch to see if he had arrived (a bit like a kid at Christmas!)

We wrapped up warm in his new hat and mitts, and waited at the porch for him, when he finally saw him he went crazy lots of dancing and excited shrieks. Was very cute.

9th January 1st haircut of the year

The boys hair was getting a bit too long and messy. Bless him it was tangling when he was sleeping.

Me and Nain took him to World of Play for £5 he gets his haircut, a goody bag usually a bag of crisps or buttons, some plasticine and a toy/ask. He also gets to play in soft play for upto 2 hours. Though it was far too cold for soft play today brrrrr.

He took it all very seriously and was good as gold. They play a video for them and so he was totally enthralled. Todays choice was Bob The Builder. I always thought it was the video that kept him entertained, but maybe its the pretty girl, as oppsed to having a man cutting his hair lol!!

I love how he is checking himslef out in the mirror here, checking hes not going too short!!

8th January Evs and his best pal Gary

A full day at Grans today, all he could ask for was Gary. Thats my mam's dog. His real name is Charlie, only Ev has christened him Gary (he says it the same way as that episode of Only Fools and Horses!!!)

He was very excited when Nain brought Gary up and spent the evening well the whole weekend calling for Gary and following him around.

I'm not sure he realises dogs are different from humans. He wants Gary to join in all his games eg he was giving hm shaped blocks to put through the right shaped holes in his game. And saying go on Gary. You really notice his speech with Gary. Think he talks better to him thatn us lol! :)

7th Jan Holidays at Grans

Rob had to go away to Spain for a few days to help his Mam and Sis, so I went to Grans. A) I get help with Evs and company and B) I'm a wuss with being on my own lol!

This pic was taken really late as I had forgotten to take a pic. Its the gates/pillars at Grans front Garden. Have spent many an hour as a young girl waiting For Grampa to come home from work or various visitors.

Ev loves it at Grand and they spend many an hour sat head to head babbling!

6th Jan 2010, My bump, my bump my lovely stickered bump!!!

Off work today with pharyngitis. Wasn't sure if E's nursery would be open, but luckily they were able to take him, and I was able to sleep bliss zzzzzzzzz.

Ev came home then and was quite grump, until he found his stickers. Only he didn't want them, they were for baby. Hence my covered stickered bump!!! I usually just have 1 or 2 stickers but today its a whole Winnie the Pooh adventure!!!!

This is my bump at 19 weeks and 5 days. Love how Ev is looking up at me and babycakes as he likes to call my bump!! Excuse the fact I look rough, and my lovely cosy pj's!!

5th Jan 2010 Snow!!!!

Not the original pic I want to upload as thats on my mobile and can't find the lead grrrrrr! May have to add an extra post when I get it!

Woke up and the roads were white and then turned round and it was snowing,a nd kept snowing for 2 hours. Was very thick and I even lost Darren... the mountain!! thats its real name lol!!

I had to take Ev out in it as I had the Dr's for my bad throat. He LOVED it and was running around like a loon! He especially loved the crunchy sound underfoot!!

Dr has signed me off for a week and given me antibiotics as I have pharyngitis grrrrr!!

This pic is off Ev deciding on alternate footwear to his nice safe boots, he wanted to wear his Crocs!!! Needless to say he kept his boots on!! ;)

4th Jan 2010. Painting thank you cards with Evan.

Its far too cold to go out again today. So I made thank you cards with Evan, so he can send them to everyone who gave him pressies for Christmas. Ev loves painting and we used his new set of sealife sponges. He loved it, especially the fishes and the seahorses. I didn't even know he could say seahorse!!

We had 20 cards to make (he was a very lucky boy this year!) And it didn't take long. Infact it took longer to get all the paint out of the sponges. I then nearly froze to the rotary line. I had to peg out Ev's painting mat to dry and didn;t realise how cold it was!! Brrrr still have my fingers left though!!

3rd Jan 2010 Playing with Evs teeny train set!

Ev got a trainset for his very 1st Christmas. He's now 2 and 4 months, and look how big it has got. Its addictive to buy for though as theres so many fab bits on the market. Our favourite is www.toyboxlane.com

Poor boy doesn't get much of a chance to play with it though, that's Rob and Nain's domain!! He was asleep when this got put up. Came down and was very gentle stepping in and out of it. Don't think he knew where to start. So he shouted "Mammy up Bap up" So off he went for a bath while Rob dismantled it. Well you couldn't get out the living room!!

You can just make out his new red truck in the back, that his Grampa (my Dad) made him for Christmas.

Jan 2nd 2010! Cruel Daddy turns Ev into a very strange Mr Strong!

Fab new top off Auntie Elaine for Christmas. Rob decided he needed another nappy on, so turned him into Superman! Still looks cute though!

Jan 1st 2010!

Ev sees in the new year sledging with Daddy and Grampa.
I was sensible and wrapped up warm at home. Snowy slopes and 19 weeks pregnant aren't a good mix!!! He loved the sledging but didn't like standing on the cold snow ;)
